Djarfur

The Djarfur is a Saddle build especially for Icelandic horses and it has an shallower seat for the riders who like e little bit more space in the saddle. By the shape of the tree the saddle is closer to the horse for a close contact feel towards the horse. By this shape the seat feeling for the rider will be a bit wider.

It has a shallow seat for riders who prefer a bit more space in the saddle. Because of the shape of the tree the saddle is closer to the horse allowing the rider more contact with the horse. This does however mean the rider’s seating will feel slightly wider.
The knee rolls of the Djarfur are anatomically shaped, helping the rider remain in a balanced position. The knee rolls are available in 2 sizes.

When ordering the Djarfur you can choose between a mono-flap and a more traditional double flap.
The flaps follow the shape of the knee rolls causing the flaps to be closer to the horse creating more contact between the rider and the horse. Both versions can have the stirrup leathers secured over or under the flaps.
The Djarfur is provided with a flocking of first class sheep wool and a lining for optimal pressure distribution.
